When my husband and I moved to Cheyenne, we were so surprised to see some visitors in our front yard, at least 3 rabbits who have managed to settle down in our neighborhood, only thing is, I think the people who lived in our house before us were feeding them, should I do the same?

I love our furry little visitors, and from time to time I toss them some apples or carrots.  My husband says I shouldn't do it because they'll become dependent on us, but I figured that I don't feed them all the time, just every once in awhile, so that they get a little surprise when they do come to visit.  I can't help it, especially when the weather gets nasty because I know they really are hungry.  Is it wrong to feed them, even if it's just from time to time?
