I’ve heard of people trying to find themselves, but never before have I heard of anyone joining their own search party to do it, that is until now!  A woman who was vacationing in Iceland, somehow ended up joining a search party, that was put together to find a missing person who just so happened to be…HERSELF!

According to several sources, a tourist group who were traveling by bus to visit the volcanic Eldgia canyon, decided to make a stop over by the canyon park.  This woman, who was a part of the tour group, got off the bus, and decided to go inside, change her clothes and freshen up a bit after being on the bus trip, but when she came back, apparently the rest of the tour group didn’t recognize her.

Soon, word spread like wildfire about a missing passenger from the group, and the woman that they were looking for didn’t even recognize the description, but decided to join a 50-person search party that canvassed the area.  The coast guard was standing by getting ready to deploy a search party of their own, when at approximately 3am, one of the group members finally figured out who they were looking for!

Now given the fact that this “missing person” changed her clothes is one thing, but not even recognizing the description of who they were looking for, and actually joining the search party, that’s a story to tell the grandkids!

Have you ever done anything that would be considered a bit “dingy?”
