What's Happening In Cheyenne

We have a ton of great season events happening this weekend from haunted rides, houses and even some organized trick or treating.

I don't know what it is about me. Inhaling chilly, fall air this time of the year really does it for me

It's a bad time to be a pumpkin

Put up the spooky decorations if you haven't already.

Of course I couldn't help myself. I needed to toss a Green Day reference in as the month of September dwindles down. Can you blame me? We're sure to see the "don't forget to wake Green Day up" memes by the boatloads next week. But, I digress.

Autumnal Equinox finds it's way to Southeast Wyoming this Sunday, Oktoberfest finds Cheyenne before that. Which season do you prefer?

It's September, the air starts to get a little crisper, the days get a little shorter, the coffee is a little more pumpkin spiced and the beer tastes a little better

Now, we're in "fall mode" even though it's not quite fall, according to the calendar anyways. But, we're sure to get that chill in the air sooner than most, so we can call it, I think.

The calendar says Fall begins late NEXT month, but all the football, pumpkin spice lattes and the fact that Labor Day Weekend is next weekend are giving us plenty of an idea that we've almost made it to Fall.

We've made it to mid August

It's August. It's warm, we have football in sight, and we still have fun things happening in Southeast Wyoming.

How tired are you? Did you conquer Frontier Days by going out all 10 days and soaking in all the fun and entertainment that you could? I'd say you could rest this week, but there is ANOTHER big event happening in the Cheyenne area that is about to kick off this week.
