We're at that point on the rollercoaster where we're kind of leveling out from the wild ride. We're not doing the loops anymore, we're speedily going towards the end. You're not tense anymore, you're not anticipating the next loop, you're accepting the end.

Even though Florence+ Machine said the Dog Days Are Over, that's not quite the case. Yet, anyways. I mean, sure, the kids at home are probably hiding your calendars that you may or may not be marking down the days to August 24th. I know my Mom did when I was a kid...

But now, we're in the middle of the Laramie County Fair, which is always a good time. There are a ton of events going on now through next week for you to check out. I always think there are more events than I'd have time to do, but you can prove me wrong.

I hope your feet don't hurt too much from frontier-ing all week. And that you drank plenty of water. Hydration is key. We still have tonight and tomorrow to get all the fun we can, packed into two days. I'm up for it if you are.

Do you remember getting the old “Day after Thanksgiving” newspapers? They were so massive, with so many deals, and so much to look through. I looked forward to it every year.

This is it. We’re going into the last full week before Cheyenne Frontier Days is on our doorstep. Are you excited? While we have an astronomical amount of events going on with all the CFD festivities next week, but you may be asking yourself, “what do we have to do this week”?

250 years of this great country and counting. That’s what we’ll be celebrating this weekend, and I know the anticipation and the fun surrounding what will be an incredible day of patriotism across the states will be something to see.

This weekend and next week will be SUPER, indeed. With live music, rodeos and more, we’re all going to need a cape to keep up! Are you ready?
