Winter Storm Watch For SE Wyoming Wednesday & Thursday
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for much of eastern Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle. This includes the cities of Cheyenne and Laramie. The Watch is in effect from Wednesday through Thursday (April 10-11).
A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
From the National Weather Service for Cheyenne and areas east:
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE....the Nebraska Panhandle and far southeastern Wyoming in Goshen, Central and Eastern Laramie County, and East Platte County.
* WHEN...From Wednesday through Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes. Blizzard conditions are possible. Please stay weather aware and and be on the lookout for more updates.
