This past Sunday afternoon at High Country Harley Davidson, Cheyenne residents gathered together to raise $1,700 for Veterans Memorial Remembrance.

This money will be combined with money that has already been raised over the past several weeks, bringing it to a grand total of $3,905.  Also, there have been 15 shopping carts full of food donated.  The money and food will go back to homeless and needy vets here in town and Wreaths Across America.

We would like to thank Gordon "Alf" Parks for all his hard work and dedication that he does around the country.  No, he is not 'The Alf,' but he's a new Alf in town.  With a name like Alf, you must be a great guy.
