It was a once in a great while event. A WHITE CHRISTMAS in Cheyenne. We've only had a few and the snowfall was never much. Cheyenne usually enjoys a mild Christmas Day with average terms are the high 30s.

For Christmas 2014 it was a different story. Almost seven inches of snow fell on Cheyenne that year. In 2014, Cheyenne set a new Christmas day record with 6.8 inches of snow.
