Bryan Grzegorczyk, better known to you as Alf, just received his second award for his volunteer work in the community, according to Wyoming Tribune Eagle.

For almost a decade now, Alf has been hosting Thankful Thursday's. It first started at the Redwood Lounge on Lincolnway. But, it grew so much that Thankful Thursday's had to be moved to AmVets Post 10. Since moving there the numbers have increased tremendously when it comes to donations for local organizations. So far, Alf has helped raise almost $2 million for local charities.

Just a few weeks ago Alf received the Community Spirit Award from the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. This week he is being recognized by Compassionate Cheyenne, they are awarding him with the Compassion-In-Action Award.

If you know Alf at all, although this is very humbling for him he made sure to recognize the amazing volunteers that help him week after week. While Alf is having fun and making the auctions go as smooth as possible. His team of volunteers is working hard to make sure that, that week's organization is getting their money.

Come on out and party with a purpose every Thursday!
