Cheyenne Firefighters Honor 9/11 Victims
Every year, for the past 17 years, firefighters across the country honor those who passed away in the line of duty during the 9/11 attacks. Cheyenne Firefighters will be joining their fellow brothers and sisters in the Memorial Stair Climb.
Our local firefighters from Cheyenne will be spread out between three different memorial climbs. Denver Century Link building, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and the War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. The firefighters that have to stay back and work, will honor those who have fallen in the best way they can while being on duty.
Thousand of civilians lives were lost, 343 firefighters and 50 law enforcement passed away in the line of duty on 9/11. They tried to break America's spirit, instead, we just got stronger. God Bless America and Thank You to those who serve.
