Amy Epstein and Alchemy Catering are getting a permanent home in downtown Cheyenne for a new Grab and Go Cafe.

The demand for Amy's cooking has grown so much that she thought it would be a good idea to open a cafe on 200 E.17th St. and name it Grab and Go Cafe.  Alchemy Catering is not going anywhere, they will offer menus that are designed to the customers liking and then the cafe will have soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, and yogurt parfaits.  The cafe will be more for breakfast and lunch as it will open at 7 a.m. and close around lunch time, no set hours just yet.  Space will be available for meetings and evening events.

Amy is excited about her new location because, since 2015, she was running her business from her home.  But Amy has grown so much since then averaging 2-6 catering events a week.

Amy loves to use local, farm-grown items and spends a lot of her time at the farmer's market.

“It’s good to go to the farmer’s market weekly, and then I would like to base a special off of what I would find,” Amy Epstein tells Wyoming Eagle-Tribune. “Let’s say mushrooms are looking really good and they’re not too expensive, then maybe doing a mushroom on toast or cream of mushroom soup, just letting the food dictate the menu.”
