Wyoming Is Average On National School Report Card
Last week the national rankings came out for the schools by state and Wyoming earned a 'C' average, according to Education Week.
The report is apart of the annual Quality Counts study, they rank each state on its education system on achievement, funding, and a chance for success. Wyoming was given a 73.1 out of 100, which is higher than the national score. That scored earned Wyoming the 18th best in the nation and fourth best in the West.
Wyoming scored really well on fourth-grade proficiency in math and reading. The Cowboy State did very well in the achievement gap.
