As of yesterday, Wyoming residents and nonresidents are allowed to start putting in their applications for big game hunting, according to the Ravalli Republic.

The first application deadline is January 31st if you want a chance to hunt Elk or Spring Turkey.  That is just the first deadline, other animals you have a chance to hunt are Antelope, Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Moose, and Mountain Goat.  For those hunters that still have 2018 big game licenses, that is extended into January.  You must have a 2019 conservation stamp to hunt.

If you plan to hunt Elk, make sure you don't need an Elk Feedground Special Management Permit, certain areas require it.  If you need to purchase stamps and permits, head over to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Cheyenne headquarters.
