It's been awhile since we've done a "Small Town Salute Tuesday," so THIS Tuesday, I thought we'd pay honors to the ginormous town of Baggs, Wyoming.  BAGGS WYOMING?

The only thing I know about Baggs, Wyoming, is that it's located just off I-80 along highway 789 west of Cheyenne, and south of Rawlins, and according to Google, it's a good 3 hours and 17 minutes to drive to this big metropolis.(with traffic.) City-Data.com has a site called Wyoming Very Small Towns (fewer than 1000 Residents) and according to this site, the town of Baggs, as of 2012, has a population of 437.

I also did a little snooping on the Town of Baggs.com, and apparently, the very first water system was "a wood stave pipe wrapped with heavy gage wire. It is in the same location, and on the same side of the street as the present water system. The old system had a large wooden overhead tank located near the river bridge north of town."  This site also said that Baggs didn't have actual indoor plumbing until 1953, according to their sources.

Aside from the population, and their sewer system, what do YOU know about the town of Baggs?  Have you ever been there?  Are there any good restaurants, hotels,or even a gas station in the town of Baggs?  Do share!
