We had our "Small Town Salute Tuesday"saluting the metropolis of Baggs,Wyoming, and, thanks to you, I learned so much  about this quaint little town.

Several people chimed in on our Facebook page to talk about this wonderful little town, and most everyone agreed on one thing, that Baggs, Wyoming is a charming little community, with lots to offer.

Kara Liakos, who currently lives in Arlington, Texas wrote "Baggs is home to a lot of my family and has been where I go to escape this awful Texas heat most summers! I love it!"  Amanda Bryson wrote "There is a restaurant/bar/motel that has recently been renovated called the Cowboy, a gas station, a grocery store, and a K-12 school that I am an alumni of. I haven't been back there for a while so I am sure there are a few changes."

Lily Barnett wrote "Baggs is part of the little snake river community. The people there are very community minded. They take good care of each other. The school is wonderful, really great teachers. The Rattlers have always had a winning basketball team and now I hear a lot about their football team. I haven't lived there for many years but I have many friends and family there, it will always be home in my heart."

I also learned from the Town of Baggs, that Baggs, Wyoming is home to at least 4 churches, a library, the Snake River Lions Club Rodeo, which happens every July, and even a museum.

Thanks to everyone who shared with us about Baggs, Wyoming, and you can read all the amazing comments about this precious little town just south of Rawlins, on our 106-3 Cowboy Country Facebook Page!

What small town do you think we should salute next?
