Several communities across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle approached or set record temperatures for the date on Saturday.

Cheyenne fell one degree short of setting a record, checking in with an official high of 90 degrees.

But several other communities did set records, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service
