Drones Are Taking Over Laramie
The Laramie Regional Airport is teaming up with Infinity Development Partners to bring the nation's second private drone hub to Wyoming, according to the Wyoming Public Media.
The drones will be used for the Game and Fish Department to evaluate animal population, ranchers will use them to find lost cattle and oil/gas companies will be able to remotely detect gas leaks. It is also said that this will bring jobs to not only Laramie but the whole state, providing jobs for younger people. Laramie is a great spot for two reasons, one being the University so the drones data can be collected easier and there aren't that many planes in the area to interrupt the drones.
Hopefully, this will go through, because then Laramie and Grand Forks, ND would service the entire Rocky Mountain and Northwest region.
