The Burns High School Student Council is trying to provide a Merry Christmas for all in their community this year.

Donations are being accepted for the Buddy Bucks program which allows student council members to purchase toys for nearly 50 children grades K-12 who may not otherwise have anything for Christmas.

The program has raised nearly $1,400 so far with a goal of $2,000.

Cash and check donations are being accepted as well as new, unwrapped toys at the Burns High School front office.

For more information contact Michelle Anderson or the Burns Jr./Sr. High School front office at (307) 245-4100.

Pine Bluffs High School recently hosted a similar program raising around $1,600 for children in their community.
