Miss Wyoming Goes For Miss America This Weekend [VIDEO]

23-year-old Mikaela Shaw, of Casper – aka Miss Wyoming USA – is in Las Vegas to compete for the coveted title of Miss USA. It's this Sunday evening. Are you nervous for her?

We think she'll be fine, and it would not be a surprise if she wins the title! We send great Cowboy State vibes to Mikaela.

The pageant airs live on Fox from Mandalay Bay on Sunday at 6 p.m. Mountain.

Shaw has been playing the Suzuki Violin since second grade. Her violin skills got her a scholarship to UW. She is passionate about the arts, so much so that she wants to be an advocate for fine arts & music programs in schools.

Mikaela Shaw is a name that also may sound familiar from when she was already once Miss Wyoming USA in 2015. This ain’t her first rodeo.
