
$22,500 Seized From Florida Man In Wyoming Arrest

Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell says a Florida man is behind bars after marijuana and a large amount of cash were found in his vehicle following a traffic stop.
The sheriff says at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday deputies stopped a blue Nissan Rogue for doing 50 mph in a 35 zone in Rock Springs.
Lowell says the deputy who conducted the traffic stop found $22,500 in cash as well as an undisclosed amount of pot in the car.
The driver, identified as 31-year-old Butch-Robert Potter of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), speeding, and driving with a cancelled, suspended or revoked driver's license.
The sheriff said Potter remains in custody as the investigation continues.
