Last Wish for Life Needs Volunteers

• Cancer has touched most all of us in some way and Last Wish for Life, a non-profit organization formed by barrel racers who want to give back, needs your help to make these deserving people with terminal cancer realize a dream or wish come true. Last Wish for Life is the same concept as Make a Wish foundation for children, but will be for adults with any type of cancer. They are asking for your generous ideas, expertise and help in making a cancer recipients last wish in life come true. The recipients chosen will be presented their money at an annual barrel race, scheduled on July 18, at Spicers Arena at Eaton, Colorado. Red or Green Chili Cookoff

• Peppermill Bar and Liquors, 1618 Stillwater Avenue will host a red or green chili cookoff on Saturday, February 7, at 5:00pm. Vote for your favorite chili, $1 per vote. All proceeds go to the Extreme Team softball team. The chili with the most tickets wins. Awards will be given for Peoples Choice first and second place. To enter, call Peppermill at (307)632-9966.
