Thankful Thursday: American Legion and Auxiliary Boys and Girls State Program

Only TWO Thankful Thursdays this season, tonight we’re raising money for the American Legion and Auxiliary Boys and Girls State Program, AND four chances to win $500.

Hard to believe we only have two Thursdays left for the season, to have a great time at the Redwood Lounge, possibly win some money, and raise money for a great cause. Tonight, it’s all about The American Legion and Auxiliary Boys and Girls State Program.

This program is designed to teach students who've completed their junior year in high school, to learn our government system, all while developing leadership skills and gaining an appreciation for their rights as a citizen.  Rusty Ridley (pictured above along with Kevin from the Redwood Lounge) stated that there have been several notables who once were involved with this program including former Vice President Dick Cheney, and former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal.

We down to only 66 Coors Light aluminum bottles, all with prizes, FOUR of them have $500.  The “Central Bank and Trust Thankful Thursday Word of the Week” is up to $200.  Just stop by Central Bank and Trust at 3060 East Lincolnway (just down the street from the Redwood Lounge,) and pick up the word of the week.  If we draw your number, and you have the word of the week card in your hand, you’ll win $200!

There’ll be all sorts of great auction items with proceeds going to the American Legion and Auxiliary Boys and Girls State Program, great drink specials, and a chance to win some money!
