Wyoming Wildlife

Wyoming is full of wildlife. Encounters with animals are common, but when a moose decides to walk down the streets of Jackson, people take notice.

Ariel Celeste is a wildlife photographer in the remote mountains of western Wyoming. Her latest video documents the final weeks of Moose Rut Season in the Tetons.

Like any horned mammal, pronghorn males like to brawl, and it is usually over a female. During mating season the bucks are known to fight for dominance.

Wyoming's wide open landscape and mountains along the continental divide provide lots of opportunities for residents from fishing, hunting, camping to ATV'ing, snowmobiling and more.

It all started when I noticed two bucks had jumped my neighbor's fence and were eating from his yard. Now they took the bull by the horns and set up a business.

The keen ears of the Red Fox can hear the mouse beneath the snow. He jumps diving head-first, but the fox may use more than just hearing to clutch its treat.

These deer are investigating a bobcat. The bobcat looks annoyed with its ears folded back. I can't help but think of my house cat getting annoyed by the dog.
