The Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the economy and a severe increase in unemployment. However, a handful of cities, such as Cheyenne, haven't been nearly as affected as some some others.

There has been a stark increase in unemployment due to the Covid-19 crisis throughout the country. Many businesses have been forced to lay off or furlough employees as a result. WalletHub recently gathered info on how much each state has been affected.

The survey showed 62.8% of respondents plan no changes to their workforce.

More than 6,000 claims were filed last week.

Big Horn and Sublette Counties currently have the highest unemployment rates in the Cowboy State at 4% and 3.9% respectively.
