The children hear the music of Christmas mostly in small bits in commercials. The TV ads show smiling people buying for 'gifts for everyone.' Happy families are gathered round tables loaded with more than enough food and drink. A huge, beautifully decorated tree is surrounded by massive and colorful presents aplenty...

Did you know you can help out Toys for Tots while eating chicken wings? The Eagle's Lodge of Cheyenne, 1600 Thomes Ave., is hosting a Chicken Wing Cook-off on Saturday, November 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. with the proceeds benefiting the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program.
