The strong winds that have been a driving hazard in much of Wyoming over the last couple of weeks are again wreaking havoc this morning (March 12).

As of 10 a.m., Interstate 25 between Cheyenne and the Colorado state line was closed to light, high-profile vehicles. WYDOT also says that stretch of highway poses an extreme blow over risk.

The agency is warning of strong winds on I-25 all the way from the Colorado state line to Glendo. Meanwhile, Interstate 80 was also closed to light, high-profile vehicles between Laramie and Cheyenne.

WYDOT has also posted an extreme blow- over risk for that stretch of roadway.  You can get the latest road conditions for the entire state by clicking here.
