The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about some strong to severe storms in southeast Wyoming on Saturday.

The agency posted this statement on its website:

''Morning showers will increase from the southwest and morph into widely scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. A few storms along and east of the Laramie Range and east into the western Nebraska Panhandle may become strong to marginally severe with brief strong wind gusts and heavy rain as the main threats. Frequent lightning is also expected."
