Small Town Salute: Kemmerer

It's been awhile since we've done a Small Town Tuesday Salute,  so today, we're doing a salute to the big metropolis of, (drum roll please) Kemmerer...Kemmerer?

I don't think I know anything about Kemmerer, much less how to pronounce it correctly.  Some people say, despite the spelling, it's just pronounced "Kemmer," while others have argued this point and say that you pronouncer the extra "er," so it would be :Kemmer-er."

I did just a little research on this quaint little town, and according to Wikipedia," Kemmerer is both the largest city and the county seat of Lincoln County, Wyoming.  The population was 2,656 at the 2010 census. As the county seat of Lincoln County, Kemmerer is the location of the Lincoln County Courthouse."  So at least we know Kemmerer has a county courthouse.
