Today is Tuesday, and we're honoring another one of the many small towns in our surroundings: Centennial, Wyoming!  What do you know about this small town?

My husband and I decided that we'd FINALLY venture out over the weekend.  We had planned on going to Saratoga because we've heard about the hot springs, and we thought we'd check it out for ourselves.

We were on I-80 and reached Laramie...and we thought about going further on I-80 to reach those wonderful hot springs, but then I remembered someone telling us to take the back roads to Saratoga because the drive is so beautiful.  So we took the exit to Wyo. 130 and headed to what we thought was going to be Saratoga.  We made it all the way to Snowy Range, only to reach a sign on the road that indicated that we had indeed reached a dead end to our adventure..."Road Closed!"  Drats!

We went all the way back to I-80, and as we were driving, we saw the big metropolis of Centennial!  I wanted to stop and venture through this little town... however my husband was tired from a long week, so we just drove right through.

Had we stopped in this quaint little town, we would have discovered a few unique things that this town had to offer, a hotel and restaurant, a mercantile and a little cafe.  They even had a railroad depot that looked like it had been converted into a museum.  We'll definitely stop by the next time we take the "wrong turn" to Saratoga.
