If you listen to Rodeo Rick, you know he loves to go fishing. This week, he took a couple days off to compete in the 2015 Wyoming Walleye Stampede fishing tournament in Glendo. Sadly, Rodeo's dreams of taking home the $10,000 title were dashed when tournament officials disqualified him for using deflated lures.

The decision was rendered after Rodeo reeled in the largest walleye ever recorded; a beast measuring over 40 inches long and weighing over 25 lbs. While Rodeo attempted to verify his new world record catch, tournament officials noticed that several of the lures in his tackle box had been deflated to make them more buoyant and attractive to the fish.

Ruling that Rodeo deliberately altered the regulation lures, which gave him a competitive advantage, officials promptly disqualified Rodeo from this weekend's tournament and suspended him from competing in the next four tournaments.

Rodeo vehemently denied any knowledge of, or involvement in, the deflating of his lures and plans to appeal the decision.
