The second to last show of the season will be tonight, May 5th, with the Denver, Colorado folk band, Edison. Dyann Dierks from Fort Collins will open the show.

"This would be a great chance to see Edison before they play as headliners at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver on June 12th."

See more on Fridays In The Asher on Facebook, where you can learn about their blues dance lessons from Aimee Eddins at 6:30. And a photobooth. And balloons. And live art. "There is no better Cinco de Mayo party anywhere."

The stage comes alive at 7pm in the Asher Building at 500 West 15th Street.

Admission is just $5

Next week will be the last show of the season and will feature Redswing and Sunnydale High on May 12th.

Getting a venue to feature live music can be tough. But thanks to a staff of volunteers who are dedicated to bringing local and regional bands and performance art, it is being done. Moving from an old location at the Hynds building because of restoration work, The Asher is the home to the 13-week series that has just two more shows, and then the focus turns to The Cheyenne Depot Plaza where the music will move outside.
