New Podcast Will Spotlight Disappearance Of Former Lander Resident
A new podcast, set to debut this Sunday, promises to explore the unusual disappearance of former Lander, Wyoming resident, Amy Wroe Bechtel.
Bechtel, a former University of Wyoming long distance runner with Olympic dreams, vanished on July 24, 1997 after jogging in the Shoshone National Forest. The case remains unsolved nearly 21 years later.
"Frozen Truth Podcast" will revisit Amy's case, potential theories, and bring a fresh new perspective to the event that shook Fremont County two decades ago.
Radio Program Director and podcast host Scott Fuller will host each episode. Scott became fascinated with the story of Bechtel after living in Fremont County in the late 2000's. His latest true crime podcast gained national recognition and several thousand downloads. This series documented the disappearance of Iowa television host Jodi Huisentruit.
Episodes of Frozen Truth will begin to be released weekly, starting Sunday, March 4th. Episodes will be available by subscribing on Apple Podcasts, and online here.
For now, you can check out a teaser on the official website.
