New ‘Downtown Hub’ Restaurant Hopes To Beat The Odds in Cheyenne
Opening a new restaurant in downtown Cheyenne can be risky, especially on Capitol Avenue where recent upstarts El Poblano and The Himalayan Cafe both lasted less than a year.
A new business called "The Downtown Hub Restaurant and Bakery" is hoping to buck those odds. Next month, the cafe will take over at El Poblano's former location on 1720 Capitol Avenue.
According to the owners, the Downtown Hub will specialize in "American cuisine with a Mediterranean twist", along with a bakery serving a variety of breads, desserts and international pastries.
They haven't set the exact date yet, but they plan on opening for breakfast and lunch in early June.
Hopefully, they'll be successful. Downtown Cheyenne needs all of the good restaurants we can get.
