Juvenile Laramie County Bicyclist Hospitalized After Bike-Car Accident

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says a young bicyclist has been hospitalized in Colorado following a bike-car collision on Saturday.

That's according to a post on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

According to the post, deputies were called out at 3:52 p.m. on a report of a car-bicycle accident in the area of County Road 213 and County Road 147.

Bicyclist Transported To Colorado Hospital

Following the accident, the bicyclist, identified as a male juvenile, was transported by air ambulance to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.

Because of the bicyclist's status as a juvenile and because the investigation is ongoing, the sheriff's office says no further information is available right now. The post goes on to say:

''Our thoughts and prayers are with the bicyclist and his family. We also extend our thoughts and prayers to the driver and everyone involved in this difficult incident. We hope for healing and strength for all those affected.''
