A 27-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after police say he threatened someone with a drawn deadly weapon.

According to a booking sheet, police arrested Brandon D. Arioso at his home at 4002 Garden Ct. at 9:33 p.m. on Monday, May 6, for aggravated assault and domestic battery.

Arioso was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for minor injuries and cleared for jail around 4:30 a.m. the following morning.

Later that day, the Laramie County District Attorney's Office charged Arioso with aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Due to his uncooperativeness, Arioso has yet to make his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court.

He's scheduled to appear before Judge Thomas Lee this afternoon, May 9, at 2 p.m.

3:45 P.M. UPDATE:

Arioso was crossed off today's jail court list and moved to tomorrow's.

Arioso was reportedly taken to the hospital and therefore crossed off today's jail court list and moved to Monday's list.
