WATCH: Bears Love Slides

Bears are a lot smarter than we give them credit for.

They have figured out how to open car doors to look for food and a place to sleep.

Bears know to walk into grocery stores and pick out what they want.

They know puny humans aren't going to mess with them.

We have even caught them sitting at picnic tables like humans.

Do you ever wonder if they are watching us and learning from us?

That's the impression you might get as you watch these videos of bears using slides at playgrounds.

Have they been hiding in the woods, watching over kids, then going out to try it themselves when they think nobody is looking?

Maybe bears figured this out on their own.

Then again, they seem to use the slide just like human kids do.

Which do you think it is?

I'll be a little more worried if one walks into a convenience store, picks out a frozen burrito, microwaves it, pours himself a soda, and casually walks out while giving the girl at the register a wink.

We aren't there yet, but they do know how to open doors and let themselves in.

Watch this bear do everything a human kid does with a slide.

After watching humans having fun on a water slide, this bear wants to try it.

Everybody stays away while he inspects the slide.

But then a human male walks over to shoo the bear away.

This time the bear gives in and runs off.

What would happen if he was allowed to continue?

Looks like he was ready to go for it, and frankly, they should have let him.

Talk about a viral video on social media. That would have been one for sure.

It was bad enough when we had that one bear that was "smarter than the average bear." But now we have more bears that are smarter, on average.

Visiting Yellowstone? There are signs that warn people to keep the windows rolled up and lock the doors.

Yes, some animals have figured out how to open doors. All they had to do was watch us and mimic it. This should not surprise anyone. We've seen some house pets do the same.

Recently a Colorado woman learned this when she found a bear in her car that seemed to almost be daring her to let it out

This is not the only time someone has returned to their vehicle to find a bear in it. They are not always looking for food. Sometimes they are looking for shelter.
