Savannah Kirkbride of Burns Signs with EWC for Volleyball
Savannah Kirkbride has been a solid contributor for the Burns volleyball program as the Broncs won the 2A state championship in 2022 and finished 2nd in 2023. Kirkbride will be headed to Torrington in the fall to join the Eastern Wyoming College volleyball squad. She was named all-state in 2A this past season and in her career as a middle and outside hitter, Kirkbride has 141 blocks and that is the school's all-time leader in that category. She has recorded 676 digs and 382 kills in her career with the Broncs.
Kirkbride also played a big role for the Burns basketball team as they won the 2A state championship in 2023. She averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds per game in her junior year. Kirkbride also competes in track and field and placed 7th at the 2A State Outdoor Championships in the triple jump and her 4x800 meter relay team took 5th.
Eastern Wyoming College went 10-21 in the 2023 season at the junior college level in Region IX.
