In the 2022-23 season, Vilkauskas was named to both the NJCAA Division II First Team All-America team and the PING First Team All-America team as selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). He was also a GCAA PING All-West Region selection and was named the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

Vilkauskas was the No. 1 ranked junior college golfer in the nation in NJCAA Division II in 2023. He finished second at the 2023 National Championships. Vilkauskas won four spring tournament titles as an individual and placed in the Top 5 in seven events, with a 69.55 scoring average for the season.

“Damon is a very good player and will be a great fit for our program,” said Jensen. “He was one of the best junior-college players in the country last year, and earned a number of national honors. Damon is also a 4.0 student, which is an important factor when we recruit young men to our program. We plan on redshirting Damon this year and so he will have a year to settle into our program and will have one year of eligibility remaining.”

Vilkauskas began his college career at South Mountain C.C. in the 2020-21 season, earning Honorable Mention All-America honors on both the 2021 NJCAA team and the GCAA PING team.

He transferred to UTEP for the 2021-22 season, playing at the NCAA Division I level for the Miners. Vilkauskas returned to South Mountain C.C. for the 2022-23 season. He has one year of college eligibility remaining. He graduated with a 4.0 grade-point average, earned President’s Honor Roll and was a Gold Cord recipient, graduating with highest distinction.

He played his high school golf at Higley High School in Gilbert, Ariz.  Vilkauskas captained his golf team to the state championship in 2020, while earning All-State honors and finishing among the Top 10 individuals at the state championship.

He is the son of Tracy Baker and Christopher Vilkauskas and has one younger brother, Miles.

From Bison to Triceratops - All of Wyoming's Official Things

Every state in our nation has chosen things that represent the state in one way or another to be official state things. Like a flower, or animal. Wyoming is no different.

The Equality State, or the Cowboy State, depending on which state slogan you want to go with, has a state flower. But did you know we also have a state tree and a state fish? Yes, we even have a state code.

To be an official thing, a member of the state legislature must write and submit a bill to the legislature declaring that a thing will be the official state thing. Then the legislature votes to pass the bill, or not, if it passes, the governor signs the bill into law and we have a new official state thing.

Here is what we have so far, all of Wyoming's official things. Now you can win big on Wyo Trivia Night if that's a thing that exists.
