For those of us driving in Northern Colorado, there's help from the Colorado Department of Transportation (C-DOT). Their free roadside assistance expands on I-25, to include places like Fort Collins.

The program offers free service like fuel or water, jump starts, short-distance towing, and accident scene protection. (It's good timing for the little warranty left on my vehicle.)

This program has existed for several years in Denver along I-70, and to the west, reducing congestion and delays. C-DOT recently expanded it to include Colorado Springs as well.

Patrols on I-25 are now added between State Highway 66 and State Highway 14. That's Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 9 a.m., and afternoons 3:30 to 6 p.m.
