Want to spend a fun day with your family this Labor Day? Well “All Aboard!”  The Cheyenne Steamers are sponsoring a good old –fashioned train ride, and the best part is, it’s FREE!

No, it won't be Big Boy, but Cheyenne Steamers is giving families an opportunity to hop aboard a 1911 Live Steam Locomotive, with the organization’s CEO and Chairman of the Board, John E. Rimmasch handling the duties of Engineer and Manager, and the organization’s Chief Information and Technology officer Michael E Lewis acting as the train’s Conductor.  You can catch this free train ride at the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center THIS Monday, September 1st, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to Cheyenne.org, Cheyenne Steamers is a new organization, with an aim of creating an “old-style,” fun filled amusement park right here in Cheyenne.  This event is getting full support from The Cheyenne City Parks and Recreation Department, who found Cheyenne Steamers a small piece of land at Cheyenne Ice and Events Center for them to operate.

This day is designed to give families a free, fun filled train riding experience!  To find out more about this free event, check out the events calendar at Cheyenne Ice and Events Center, OR CALL John E. Rimmasch at 307-778-7458.
