The Cheyenne Downtown Business Association is planning a forum on parking in downtown Cheyenne later this month, according to a Friday news release.

According to the release, the forum will be held on August 15 and 16 from 6-8 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie County Library.

According to the release, anyone with an interest in the downtown parking issues-including Cheyenne City Council members, police, business owners, people who shop in the area, those who work downtown, people who live in the area, and anyone else with an interest in solving the downtown parking issues is invited to attend.

The release says the goal is to find possible solutions to parking issues in downtown Cheyenne as well as come up with ideas that could be presented to the city.

The release says the forums will also work ''to address misperceptions about downtown parking for the general public."
