Florida Georgia Line Bring It Down for ‘Dirt’ at the 2014 CMA Awards
Florida Georgia Line showed a very different side to their music in a stripped-down performance of 'Dirt' at the 2014 CMA Awards.
The breakout superstar duo performed seated on two stools, strumming acoustic guitars in an arrangement that served as a showcase for their vocal harmonies. The first single from their sophomore album, 'Anything Goes,' is a step in a much more mature direction than the party rap anthems that have launched most of their record-breaking success.
The performance was still visually impressive, though, with the guys performing in front of a backdrop of fire and a white picket fence at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
Florida Georgia Line are also nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year on country's biggest night of the year.
