The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority just announced the itinerary for the annual "Skele-fun” Halloween event on Saturday.

The party kicks off at 1 p.m. with the Downtown Trick or Treat. Nearly 30 local businesses will be handing out over 1,000 pounds of candy to kids of all ages. Each of the participating merchants will have signs advertising the event.

At 3 p.m. the spooky fun continues at the Cheyenne Civic Center with a showing of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" along with a costume contest. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids.

After dark, the real spirits will come out at the Crawl-oween Pub Crawl, which features stops at six downtown bars and restaurants. Proceeds from the pub crawl will benefit the Alternative Arts Project at The Lincoln. Wristbands, which include one drink at each location, are $25 and are available at Ernie November and the DDA office.

Ballet Wyoming will christen The Gallery at The Metropolitan with their production of  "Dracula: The Legend in Motion", with 7 p.m. showings on Friday and Saturday night and 2 p.m. matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $25.

The Cheyenne Little Theatre presents two showings of the cult-classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" with a live shadow cast Saturday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m at the Historic Atlas Theatre. Tickets are $10.

Down the street, the Historic Plains Hotel will be offering free tours of the legendary "Rosie Room" Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The theatrical heavy metal band Mushroomhead headlines an all-ages concert at the Asher Upstairs Saturday night. Doors open at 6 p.m. and advanced tickets are $25.

And the Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley will be back on the streets with their Ghost Fright-Seeing Tours which depart from the Depot at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are $15.
