Do Cheyenne Schools Need An Adult Day For Students? [POLL]
In Shepherdsville, Kentucky one high school is having an Adulting Day, according to WMC5.
At Bullitt Central High School, all the seniors had to spend a whole day learning about things adults do on a daily basis that there is no book to teach. For instance, the students had to go in the community and learn how to cook in a dorm-room, change a flat tire, credit cards and finances. They also had speakers come in, such as a police officer, they let the students how to act in a traffic stop. Another speaker talked about being homesick when going off to college or moving out for the first time.
Do you like this idea? Do Cheyenne and the rest of the school districts around the country need to adopt this?
