The Wyoming Cowboys face the San Jose State Spartans for the first time since 2014 in their regular season finale today in California.

Wyoming (7-4, 5-2) is vying for their second consecutive eight-win season and another six-win season in the Mountain West.

San Jose State (1-11, 0-7) has lost 10 straight games. They’ve lost the games by an average of 34 points. The Spartans haven’t won a game since Sept. 2 over Cal Poly, 34-13.

Coming off a tough loss at home to Fresno State last week, Cowboys’ head coach Craig Bohl knew his team fell short to a good opponent. He provided an update on Josh Allen and looked ahead to San Jose State.

As for during the week, Allen has thrown and participated in some drills, but it’s not known whether he’ll start the game or not.

Wyoming is 6-3 all-time versus the Spartans, but San Jose State has won the last two meetings. The Cowboys have a 4-1 mark in San Jose, but lost their last visit, 51-44, as well.

Kick-off is at 3 p.m., and the game is available online through ESPN3. You can also listen on KOWB (AM 1290), through KOWB’s stream and on the new KOWB App.
