Cheyenne Zombiefest September 20th

If you’re scared of the "walking dead," then be afraid, VERY afraid!  Cheyenne Little Theater Players' Zombiefest will overtake downtown Cheyenne September 20th

Zombies will once again be invading downtown Cheyenne, with movie screenings, panel discussions, and live music (for those still living) at both Cheyenne Depot Plaza and the Atlas Theater.

This year’s special guest is Matt Mogk of the Zombie Research Society and author of “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Zombies,” and regular cast member of AMC’s “Talking Dead.  The Cheyenne Zombie Fest Horror Film Festival will showcase the frightening talents of filmmakers who’ve made horror films that will be screened at the Atlas Theater in Downtown Cheyenne.

There will be Zombies of all ages, along with Zombie hunters, and several events throughout the day including a Zombie costume contest with comic artists on hand to help turn you into a Zombie, an Ugly Pageant, Zombie Olympics, Brain Eating Contest, Zombieland for Kids, and more!

You can also dance along with the living dead at the Nightmare Zombie Prom for all ages, held at a haunted house.  This Prom will be complete with a Zombie DJ, music, lights lasers and fog.  You MUST be dressed and made up as a Zombie in order to get into the prom.

Most Zombie events are free, some events including the Prom and Film Festival will charge a fee, and tickets can be purchased at the venue.

Zombiefest is put on every year by the Cheyenne Little Theater players, to help them raise money for their yearly performances, plays and other events. For more information, check out Cheyenne Zombiefest's Facebook Page.
