
Cheyenne Water Projects Start Monday
Two water projects are scheduled to get underway in Cheyenne on Monday, May 7, according to a release from the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities [BOPU].
Both of the projects will require traffic controls, and motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and possible detours.
The projects are as follows:
W. 17th St. – Closure on W. 17th St. between Carey Ave. and Pioneer Ave.; Start: May 7, 2018; Anticipated Completion: May 15, 2018; Purpose: Remove and replace concrete from a recent water main break.
Stillwater Avenue – Closures on Stillwater Ave. between Dell Range Blvd. to approximately Driftwood Dr.; Start: May 7, 2018; Anticipated Completion: June 8, 2018; Purpose: Replace water main and fire hydrants on Stillwater Ave.
