Cheyenne Trick-Or-Treat Tips

It's trick-or-treat time again! Are you going out with your kids this year?

What are your best tips for fellow trick-or-treaters in town? Here are a few of the basics if you're new to trick-or-treating Wyoming style!

1. DRESS WARM! No skimpy outfits in Wyoming, always coordinate your costumes with the potential for a cold night.
2. Drive Carefully! If you're on any of Cheyenne's roads for Halloween night, take it extra slow. Kids pop out of nowhere and don't always see you. It is up to the driver to be proactive, the scariest thing about a kids Halloween should be the decorations. PS - Alcohol can wait adults, Halloween is all about the kids!
3. Say Thank You! If someone is kind enough to stay up, open the door, and give out free candy. A simple thank you goes a long way. It's a great life lesson for kids.
