Cheyenne Neighborhood Night Out Block Party Locations Announced

Eighteen block parties will be held throughout Cheyenne next Thursday, July 15, as the community celebrates Neighborhood Night Out.

Now in its twelfth year, the event is designed to bring neighbors, businesses and police together in partnership against crime.

"When neighbors are able to meet and connect with one another and the officers that serve them, we are able to work together to prevent crime," said police spokeswoman Alex Farkas.

Farkas says those who don't have a block party going on in their neighborhood, or who want to attend more than one, can check out Blue Federal Credit Union World Headquarters for the community-wide Neighborhood Night Out celebration.

"We hope to see you there," she said.
