If you love your food fresh and local, its that time of year again.

A Tuesday afternoon thing, Wyoming's Farmers' Market starts next week, just a few days before Cheyenne Frontier Days, all the way to October.

Founded in 2004 as Wyoming Fresh Market, here are just a few things:

The local produce is fresher, as is most everything.

A variety of things are not always in supermarkets, from salsas to organic body products.

It’s all local, or at least regional, like grass fed bison. Some say that's healthier than hamburger.

There's much more that's homemade, handmade, and likely tastier at the Tuesday Farmer's Market.

Parking is good in the lot west of the Frontier Mall Sears, Tuesdays 3-6 p.m.

And don't forget The Cheyenne Farmers' Market opens Aug. 6 at Depot Plaza.
