Cheyenne Man Wanted for Allegedly Strangling Girlfriend [VIDEO]

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding 45-year-old Carl Coons.

"He's wanted in connection with a domestic disturbance that occurred back on Oct. 29 which the Cheyenne Police Department investigated," said Lt. Don Hollingshead.

"In the report, it is alleged that he utilized a pillow to cover his girlfriend's face and mouth area and she wasn't able to breathe," Hollingshead added.

Coons is a 5-foot-8 male weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Coons' current whereabouts is asked to call the Laramie County Combined Communications Center at (307) 637-6524 or Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.

"He's not known to carry any type of weapons, but always bare safety in mind and just contact law enforcement," said Hollingshead. "We'll take care of it from there."
