UPDATE: This event has been moved downtown and will be held on Pioneer Avenue, between 15th Street and Lincolnway, the first and third Tuesday of every month through the summer.

Several Cheyenne food trucks are joining forces for a new event. The Capitol City Block Party kicks off on June 25th and will be held every Tuesday night through September from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the parking lot on 600 East Lincolnway.

The event was organized by Daily Press owner Michael Stromberg, who partnered with the owners of Butler Dogs, Fat Howard's Chili Company, and Mile High Fries.

"We always see each other at other events, so we got together and decided to throw our own food truck rally every week," Stromberg said. "We found a great location, and now we're hoping to make it a weekly tradition in the summer."

Along with food, the block party will also feature a D.J. and a beer garden.

"Enjoy some great food, beer, music, and even better company," Stromberg said. "Bring your friends, bring your family, bring everyone you know because this is going to be a fun event for Cheyenne."
